Before:

Aged screws become loose and start to extract. This causes leaking and can lead to major issues if left untouched.

After:

New screws are installed one by one. The new screws have are larger diameter, courser thread, and create a renewed waterproof seal with the roof material.

Before:

A snow damaged roof cricket. Completely collapsed, its screws have been ripped out; leaving large holes in the sheet metal. It also offers no protection for the pipework it shields.

After:

A new roof cricket installed with additional support. New screws, tape caulking and sealant are used to secure and provide weatherproofing for the installation.

Before:

Old flashings were poorly installed, and offered little protection against Whistlers seasonal weather extremes.

Before:

The accompanying roof cricket was also damaged. Again the screws had been ripped out of the roof, creating leaks within the property.

After:

A new chimney flashing and roof cricket was installed. Repairs were also made to the damaged areas of the roof sheet. On completion this much improved systems; protected the chimney far better than its predecessor.
